Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment
Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) has announced new dates for its retail events throughout the DDS of 2022.
There are 17 festivals on the schedule, including citywide events, activations, and experiences that promote Dubai as a retail and leisure destination.

UK Pink Floyd Experience
Starting on June 16, this live gig is a popular event for Pink Floyd fans who can reminisce about their favorite rock songs at the Dubai Opera. The band's well-known songs, a breathtaking video projection on a large circular screen, and a light show that tries to replicate the ambiance of earlier performances are all worth seeing.
The show is part of his first solo world tour, and Mr. Tomlinson will perform for fans at an award-winning studio in the UAE. The concert was originally scheduled for 2020 but was postponed owing to the Covid outbreak. The date for this summer has been set for July 2, and tickets have been on sale since May.

During the summer, Dubai is a very popular destination, with an increase of roughly 2-3 million visitors per year compared to the previous year. However, the pandemic also affected the DSS, and in 2020 only 5.5 million people were recorded, which is three times less than in 2019.
Last year, there were around 7.28 million international tourists, a 10% increase over the previous year, and at least 10 million foreign visitors are predicted this year.
In the last several years, Dubai General Entertainment and Dubai Corporate Entertainment offerings attracted the highest satisfaction scores at 73.7 percent, followed by Business Events and Meetings at 72.8 percent and Family Entertainment at 71.3 percent. They expect 2% growth this year.
Throughout 2021, Dubai's tourism ecosystem outperformed several of its expectations with events, manifestations, and festivals keeping the city at the forefront of the world's leading tourist destinations.
In the future, Dubai's efforts to portray itself as the world's most livable city will help expand its tourism appeal, direct and corporate entertainment shows, and acts in new markets, boosting visitor numbers and driving growth across the sector.
